Easy Ways To Make Vaping Even Safer

While it’s largely unfounded, there are still many people who worry about the risks of vaping. Of course, it is always an option to do without it completely in order not to take any risks. But if that’s not an option, there are still many ways to make e-cigarettes a little safer. Of course, neither smoking nor vaping is one of the healthiest activities. Even if vaping is at least 95% safer, using an e-cigarette always risks your health. Most vapers take advantage of this opportunity to minimize the dangers of their own nicotine addiction. So for many, stopping is not an option.

Nevertheless, vapers are also interested in protecting their health and reducing risks as small as possible. In this article, we would like to address this desire in detail and clarify the question of which measures can make vaping safer without forcing the user to stop. With the following tips, the health risk of vaping can be minimized.

1:More Nicotine But Less Vape

At first glance, this may sound like a very strange proposal. In the vaping community, the trend has long been developing to vape more frequently but with a higher amount of nicotine. However, it has been proven that vapers who use less nicotine need significantly higher quantities of e-liquids and use e-cigarettes much more frequently. Of course, frequent vaping does not necessarily imply long-term health problems, but if the aim is to reduce risk, the frequency of vaping should be reduced. The fewer trains you can get by with, the safer it is for your health. Increasing the amount of nicotine ensures you still get enough of it without making vaping uncomfortable.

2: Temperature Control Modifications

Several technical innovations contribute daily to reducing potential risks to our health, and they are constantly evolving. A good example of such technology is temperature control when vaping. A few studies have found that large amounts of formaldehyde can occasionally be emitted when using e-cigarettes. Even if these are demonstrably isolated cases that are not necessarily of importance in everyday life, it can be stated that excessive temperatures in the e-cigarette also lead to increased chemical reactions. This means that dangerous or harmful chemicals are more likely to be produced at higher temperatures. This problem can be fixed with a simple modification using a temperature gauge. If you reduce the maximum temperature of the coil, you can also stop the unwanted generation of chemicals. The temperature control allows you to find the ideal vape temperature to simultaneously make vaping comfortable and non-harmful.

3: Don’t Light Coils Easily

This is called dry burning if the coils are fired without the e-liquid present. This is often done to test if the temperature is spreading well or to clean the coil of debris. If you heat the coil, it quickly reaches a very high temperature of over 700°C. In the long term, this can have the effect that metal detaches from the coil and is later absorbed by the body when vaping. Studies haven’t proven that dry burning is harmful, but since it’s so easy to avoid, there really isn’t any reason to take a risk.

4: Avoid Certain Substances

There is always a lot of controversy among vapers on this topic. The question is how concerned one should be about substances like diacetyl and acetyl when vaping. Even if it is impossible to say whether a critical limit is reached when vaping, it makes sense to have the amount of these substances as low as possible since a connection to lung damage has been established. Both substances are mainly found in flavorings. Of course, these liquids still contain only a fraction of the diacetyl and acetyl as a traditional cigarette, and vaping remains the safer option. If you want to be on the safe side, use liquids free of diacetyl or limit the use of liquids in general.

5: Do Not Generate That Much Vapor

Here we are most likely repeating ourselves. The more vapor you inhale, the higher your risk of exposing yourself to it. At this point, it must also be mentioned that vaping is still much safer than smoking, even at high frequencies. Even not following any of our tips makes using the e-cigarette much healthier. Nevertheless, the risk emanating from the e-cigarette is lowest if you use it as little as possible. The less vapor inhaled, the better.

6: Do Not Inhal While Vape

An interesting fact about vaping is that most nicotine is absorbed in the mouth and throat, not in the lungs, like smoking. For this reason, the increase in nicotine levels in the blood is also more comparable to a nicotine patch. Therefore, for many people, not inhaling the vapor completely but simply holding it in your mouth for a while before exhaling it can be an interesting option. Many here have had the experience that this works better when the nicotine level in the liquid is higher, but here everyone will most likely have to test for themselves how they can cope best.

In this post, we are not trying to say that vaping is terribly unhealthy if you don’t follow these tips. Many of the points we have addressed have not been confirmed as major risks but as hypothetical dangers. Even doing the exact opposite of our recommendations, vaping remains healthier than smoking. But if you have decided to keep the risk to a minimum, there is nothing wrong with taking the tips to heart for yourself.
