Electronic vapor arises from the evaporation of a liquid, so there is no combustion, the process that creates most of the toxic substances in smoke. As a result, vaping has no carbon monoxide or tar, to name the most dangerous ones.
In a nutshell: the scents of vape devices are certainly not fresh mountain air. They may contain nicotine (harmful but non-carcinogenic), and – if the evaporation temperatures are not kept within the correct limits – harmful substances can be released. However, in the face of all this, they are still far less harmful than tobacco smoke.

Not everyone knows, however, that within the first 12 months of quitting smoking, the risk of heart attack is reduced by up to 50%, and after 24 months, the risk of stroke returns to about the levels of non-smokers.
